Response to Strange tanks

They missed one of the stranger vehicles, the "Machine Boirault" tested for the French Army in 1915 as a trench crossing vehicle.

The story behind this photo is interesting as well. I was rummaging around a French used bookstore in Paris about ten years ago when I stumbled onto a personal photo album of French artillery officer. In it were 4 photos of the Boirault machine (about 4 times more than previously known to exist). I bought it for about $35.
