Cromwell aerial - odd location

Checking through my references today for something else, I came across a photo showing a radio aerial located in an unusual place on a Cromwell turret.

It was mounted on a bracket where the spotlight would usually be seen on the side of the turret.

Refs would indicate 5RTR - 22nd Armd Brigade.

Can't post the photo but if you have any of the following refs, you'll see what I mean

Museum Ordnance Special on the Cromwell - page 2
WM 14 - Cromwell (Polish text) - page 30 (same photo)
New Vanguard - Cromwell Cruiser tank (Colour plate C1 - clearly based on same photo)

Q1 - Was this a one-off or are there other examples known?
Q2 - was this a new location for the aerial or was it an additional aerial?

Anything you can offer would be much appreciated.

Thanks
John
