At that size, you would have expected the detail to be better than on a 1/35 kit, but it doesn't seem to be the case here. For one thing, the brush guards are depicted as rods, the handles on the engine access doors are molded solid, the MG barrel clamp is a mess, there is no armored cover over the gunner's periscope, no holes in the sandshield strips, and the @#?%@#$ grouser well covers are still there. Not to mention that on a model this big, they could at least have put straps on the pioneer tools.
Oh, and while I'm at it, can someone tell me what that thing on the middle of the turret roof is supposed to represent?
Sorry for the rant, but somehow I'm convinced that if this had been a German subject, such issues would have been addressed.
