Response to Look at the markings

47 as the AoS works. On a second look the figure in the M16 looks to have British webbing making the helmet an RAC type.

British records (Bovington and Chilwell) show only three M16s were ordered for British forces, probably sometime in 1944 for delivery by December 1945. Up to now the speculation was whether these were the ones seen in photos of Polish troops or not.

This just goes to prove never-say-never. Well spotted Javier.
