I am not sure about which 2CAB regt it is, but this photo is NAC PA-132801 and its location is vicinity of Courseulles sur Mer. Look here:

While it was 1st Hussars Regt in support of 7CIB, which had landed at Courseulles sur Mer, while SFR had landed at Bernieres sur Mer with 9CIB as follow up force on D-Day, I do not think, this identifies this vehicle as being definitely from 1H. Courseulles and Bernieres are in fact only a few miles away, so "vicinity of Courseulles" could well be somewhere inland from Bernieres. Date 8-10.6.44 also do not helps much.
If it helps you, I believe, that there is another photo of same tank - NAC PA-131424 possibly. Look here:

Unfortunately, I have only this small copy of that photo, but the location and date of both photos plus the same position of the French flag on the turret seems to indicate, I could be right.
As to the down below photos of SFR tanks, yes, they both have squadron sign filled with black to the left of the tac number on turret rear - common practice within SFR. In fact, tank No 21 on the well known photo PA-115568 is Bomb, which had made it all the way from D-Day to VE-Day. There was very interesting post by Tony Viste some time ago on ML, regarding this photo.
