First off this image is from the MOST EXCELLENT book by Rob Ervin and David Doyle, "WWII U.S. Sherman Tank In Action" and is reproduced here for discussion only. I highly recommend getting this book if you are Sherman fan, especially if you are a budding shermanholic like myself. The "bible" by hunnicut can be a bit unwieldy, and this book offers a nice tight history and overview of the Sherman and its variants.

ok, on to the image:

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

Now from my looking at the picture i THINK it is an M4(75) 57 degree dry stowage with small hatches
the differential cover looks like an E4186 cast cover
turret i think is a low bustle, D50878 with cast cheek armor and no pistol port or loaders hatch... maybe? tough to tell.
am i right? close?

Thanks for the help on the previous sherman i did (snow white) it was super helpful and contributed to me getting a gold medal at amps nationals!

Thanks for the help!
