In reading the book Armageadom at Stalingrad by D.M. Glantz the second book in his Stalingrad triogy it mentions on p519 a RKKA "flame tank" in use. Does anyone know what sort of flame tank this could be? On p253 it mentions the 71st flame company and on p440 it mentions the 104th flame company. Thanks in advance.
I have lso read the first volume of this triolgy "To the gates of Stalingrad" both are some heavy duty historical reading. if you want to know how many and what tanks a unit had it has this information.
If you are a wehrmachtholic or panzerholic you will probably love volume 1 where the Germans destroy or maul Soviet armies at a fairly rapid rate. Volume 2 they will probably find okay too with the german army grinding forward through the rubble of stalingrad while fighting off Soviet counerattacks. I think they may not care for volume 3 things go really bad for the germans.
