Response to I'm collecting data for USMC priest Okinawa...

I'v been waiting along with you to see if anyone has any other pictures of this Priest but things are very quiet on this site the last few weeks. I had a look through some books but didn't come up with any useful info. No one seems to have been too interested in the Priest in the PTO. Looking at the photos in Concord they all seem to be mid models with the usual mix of features seen in the ETO as well. Look at the photo just above your chosen subject on page 70 to see what a mixed bag of features the Priest could be, one has the three piece tranny cover and the other doesn't. Mid way through production they switched to the one piece and then back to the three piece when they ran out of one piece. (See Steve Zaloga article in Military modelling from a few years back.) I would say you could build that kit from the box adding the EEC track, wading gear, spare track and extra machine guns. If you do happen to come across any real info on this vehicle i would love to see it.
Regard's, Dave.
