Dragon M4 (105) HVSS in Okinawa: M4 or M4A3?

Hi, fiends.
I'm puzzled about Dragon's reference of M4A3 (105) HVSS, as they put an decal option as an 713 Tk.Bn. howitzer tank in Okinawa battle.
Although you could see a widely known pic in, for example, Steven Zaloga's book "Tank Battles in Pacific Front", Concord Ed., in this pic you could see clearly that the howitzer tank in the extreme right (but not the extreme right tank in the pic, that is an 75 mm. one) is indeed an M4(105) HVSS, as the rear plate identify the model as an M4 doubtless; this tank has also the T80 track shoe type. But the two tanks at its left, T66 tracks, had the wading trunk still fitted (that obscures the rear plate profile), and the pic isn't enough clear to see if had grouser vents, feature of M4s.
I think that, having late M4s as "blow-torch" equipment and at least a single M4(105) HVSS, 713 Tk.Bn. had a full strengh of radial engined M4s, but some souces states that some M4A3 (105) HVSS arrived in Okinawa campaign.
Could somebody clear the enigma?
Thanks in advantage!
Best regards: Luis.

M4

The Okinawa vehicle was a M4 105mm assault gun, not a M4A3. This issue was discussed here before in more detail when the kit first arrived.
