I came acros this image of a KV-2 turret. Interestingly enough there's no light coming through the opening for the main gun. So was there a "floor" in the turre?

There is no floor and if there was it wouldnt be up in the turret. You just dont get a lot of light since the sun is probably above or to the left in the picture.
