FAT

March 17 2012, 3:26 PM

A Morris FAT, the inverted triangular supports at the rear of the chassis to the body distinquish this as a Morris.
The ammunition, I would guess for the 25pdr, possibly the 18/25pdr, as the rounds are the shells, without the seperate cartridge cases.
The ammunition boxes, though similar in appearance to the 6pdr, have been noted before with the 18/25pdr guns.
A really nice clear shot, and the cammo scheme is well defined.

Good find, I thought the source of these photo's was beginning to dry up, let's hope for some more.

George.

The colours might be.

I agree with George, a well defined camouflage pattern. By the rather soft undulating style of application this could be an example of Light Green G5 over Khaki Green G3 done at unit level.
