I'm only aware of one photo of the rear of this vehicle on page 50 of the Tankograd Soviet Special no 2003. Although the photo is not very clear it appears to me that the mounting plates are of the earlier diamond shape. It is clear from another photo that the ones on the front lower hull plate are of the later round shape. Does anyone know if there is another photo of the rear of this vehicle and would explain the statement in Neil Stokes review of the Trumpeter kit (01565)where he indicates the mounts are round?

Graeme, I just looked at the photo in the Tankograd book and you may be right, though I suspect we might be looking at a trick of the light. Going by the extended highlight on the right-hand sides the mounts, particularly the right-hand one, it would appear that they're the earlier diamond shape. However, if this was true I'd expect similar highlights to show up on the left-hand sides of the mounts. Since they don't, it may be that they're the round type and and the lighting angle and marks on the hull are deceiving. I think it's a crap shoot.
I do have a rear photo of '46' from the same unit...the same photo Seita-san posted...and its rear mounts are definitely round. Given the uncertainty around the photo in the Tankograd book, that led me to the conclusion that '43' had the round mounts too.
