Hi Gents,

anybody seen this new kit from Trumpeter ???
It has the kit number 1571 and is to be released in September.
Any special features known ? Maybe early version as it doesn't mention late (but the top vent is visible) ?

I know all about it....

July 9 2012, 9:27 PM

while called the 'early' the main difference is a newly tooled fighting compartment superstructure with non-beveled edges. This is the type that had to be ground away from in front of the side periscopes. To make an early, use the early exhausts (WC23 & WC24) and don't add the ventilators (WY3). Neil Stokes covers this and more here:

I just noticed the tracks have teeth on all links in the artwork whereas...

the previously released late model had the split links.

Thanx for the info..

would be nice to have the non-beveled edges on the superstructure out of the box, saves a lot of time.
Maybe we also get the correct tracks now !

BTW .. any news on the Bronco Su-152 ??
