Hello Chris,

Interesting that you should mention Iran-Contra. This article stated that Hussein learned that the U.S. and Israel were supplying military technology to Iran covertly. Hussein purportedly agreed not to go public, so to speak, in exchange for M-1 tanks modified to Iraqi specs.

It is quite an interesting story, however, I can't verify the accuracy of the information myself. I will take it at face value. If it turns out that I have been duped, well, no worries, mate.

I just imagine that one of our members at ML will have something to offer in the way of additional information.
