Response to Difference between a MAZ 537 late and intermedate?

Ryan,

The main differences are the air intakes, absence of fuel tank covers and fender configuration. Form the aspect of the air intakes the best fit for Chechnya would be the Trumpeter "Late" version as it has the correct air intakes. However the best fit for Chechnya would be a "FInal" version. The main difference is the "V" shaped rear fenders are a flat fender as found in the Trumpeter KZKT. Trumpeter has announced the pending release of a "Final" version, however it should be a straight forward conversion.

The main challenge would be the Chechnya era trailer as the 5247G trailer does not fit the era. A ChMZAP 9990 tri-axle trailer would be fitting. E-mail me direct as I actually have about 4 images of this vehicle serving in Chechnya.

Best regards,

Rick
