BTR40 look see

At SMC last weekend I picked up the Trumpeter BTR40, as the proud owener of a full size one I have now passed my beady eye over the kit, haven't build it yet as you can all guess what it's going to end up as....

very simply, it's lovely!!

Bang on scale wise with very nice (and full) detail including PE and a full engine compartment. There are lots of small pieces and it will look pretty complete out of the box.

Tyres are Vinyl and well detailled but do miss any sidewall lettering

Only gripes are that the doors are ALL moulded shut with very thin/faint panel lines and will be a pain to remove, the only missing thing I can spot is the very obvious and large, fuel filler cap and trunking, inside the hull behind the RHS door.

This gives a very good base for a cracking model, but for those IDF fans out there we have some surgery to do!!
