Response to Question for Mike Mummey

Howdy Joe, short honest answer is 'I don't know.' I was just out to the 'Stumps' and Camp Pendleton last month and the current wrecker version of the MTVR is the MK36. The LVSR MKR15 wrecker is all the rage now for pulling heavy MRAP and LVSR junk. They both had winches, booms and hooks. As far as those model kits/conversions you mention I do not know what or if they would be appropriate for either vehicle.
In the future I would just throw the "Motor Tragedy" and any other questions out to the forum members and give everyone a chance to chime in. If you direct a question to one person then no one else with a better or more accurate answer will contribute, just a thought.
I too am eagerly awaiting the release of the MTVR. There are lots of possibilites with that pig from plain jane as issued in 2002 to the Logistic Gun Ships we see trucking around the 'Stan'.
Outta here, Mike sends . . .
