Response to Any comparison review??

I am not aware of any comparison reviews.

I think that technically the 2 M51s are actually 2 different types of the M51. From what I have seen, the Tamiya kit represents an early or initial M51 with the M50 style stowage and I don't know which engine type-- either the radial or the diesel exhausted through the original exhaust pipes. The DML M51 is a "third batch" M51 with the later M51 stowage and the above deck exhaust for the Cummings diesel.

If you want to build a later version, you will either have to use the DML or kit-bash that with the Tamiya. If you just want a M51 regardless of "batch type," then your options are either.
