Response to Dragon M50 fit problem fixes?

David, there's no way out but surgery. I would cut the whole nose off and use another. All of Dragon's Shermans seem to have problems with this, of varying degrees of severity. The older kits are worst. There are a slew of resin options for a whole new final drive, or kitbashing. I got decent results on a Dragon Sherman III by using the round-cast cover and side plates from a Tasca M4A1 DV, and Tamiya final drive covers. After slicing off the original side panels for the differential from the hull tub, you might find that you have to add back some strip stock to get either a resin or TAsca aassembly to fit correctly.
