Concerning the TRM do you mean 2000 or 20000? I don't know of a TRM 20000 in the French army.
TRM 2000 currently are to find. Its cross country mobility was a bit poor to say the least and when its bed was not loaded it had a tendency to roll upside down.

Jens beat me for the explanation. The radar works similarly to the ones you find on both sides of the Husky.
