With some assistance from "cunning" over at armorama, I was finally able to download some comparison test shots of the Bronco (in tan) ZTZ 99 kit versus the Hobby Boss.. I uploaded the photos so you can see them in firefox.

Looks like the Bronco kit has the edge on detail. I will be interested in build reviews.

Thank you for posting these pictures. They are really helpful.

It looks like I will get one of the Bronco kits, even though Chinese armour is not really my cup of tea.

Bronco managed to measure the real thing

Back on 22nd September 2009 I had an e-mail from Bronco confirming the measurements in millimetres of the real vehicle.

Bronco managed to measure and photograph a tank in a repair facility in the 'Beijing Military Region' so their kit has been based on these measurements.
