well.. new turret sprue w/ figures. New tracks (using same technology as the rest of Taymia old shermans, and I cant quite tell in the pic if that is flash im seeing around the end connectors; if so, tracks are worthless)...and a new upper hull with some new tool bits.

suspension looks the same old taymia sprue
MG sprue is from M4 kit (even says 1998 on it)
and you get the old sprue from the M4A3

at least they plugged the sponsons.

for that price, ill be converting a Dragon or wait for Tasca M4A1 76mm. Especally if I have to replace road wheels.

But, as pointed out by a fellow modeler, it will be an easy OOB build.

Sorry Tamiyasan, for that kind of money I expect a "full" new kit

July 23 2011, 11:08 AM

Not some kit bashed with sprues from 1990's. Just because it says Tamiya on it, it does not mean everyone will buy it. Times have changed, we have other options these days.

Just my honest take on this.

Money is very tight these days, give us a full new kit for our money or don't bother with it.
