Currently researching the BTR-50 series but there are still some mysteries for me.

Was the BTR-50PK also produced outside the USSR? I heard that Czechoslovakia also produced them but I have no real proof for that.

The early BTR-50PK has the 45 degree nose and lowe hull like the BTR-50P, when did they switch to the higher hull with cut out and 35 degrees nose? I think at the same time as the PT-76B but I'm not sure.

So far I spotted 3 different hulls for the PT-76 series and only two for the BTR-50 series.

Is there a good walk around of the BTR-50P and early BTR-50PK?

I did see some early BTR-50PK's in Indonesian service.

Looks like this is one vehicle few have studied and I would guess many, I was, are surpised to see a kit come out.

Yes the Czechs built their own version, the OT62. Like the original, there were various slightly different models but you can tell them apart by the side exit doors on the OT62, used by the Czechs and the Poles.

Hello,
the OT-62 has a number of visible differences with its Russian cousin. The most obvious is the pair of rounded stations at the front of the vehicles where you only have one on the left side of the BTR-50.
The roof hatches lay-out is different too.
Some OT-62s even got a small conical turret a la MT-LB.

Thanks for your reply. I do not mean the OT-62 but the BTR-50PK. Some sources say that the BTR-50PK (with 45 degrees nose) was also produced in Czechoslovakia but I can't find any real proof.
