I was hoping to buy some individual Tamiya sprues from Rainbow ten but note that have closed down at the end of February 2012.

Is there somewhere else that you can get Tamiya sprues from

Not sure about other locations but perhaps contacting the Tamiya importer for Australia would be good?

HLJ did sell sprues from Tamiya and other Japanese made kits but they have suspended this service following the earthquake and tidal wave in Japan. You might contact them to see if they plan on starting this service up again. It does say temporary on their site, but its been a year now

One option would be proxy services that purchase the parts for you in Japan on your behalf, you can find them easily online. The service charge could be high, though.
