DEF wheel set for M1070
June 14 2012, 9:18 AM
As far as I know, there seem no considerable problems to assemble the resin with the M1070 kit.
You may refer to the following site, in which the M1070 kit is under construction with the DEF kit.
(Unfortunately written in Korean..)
And, yesterday I asked a DEF personel about this fit issue,
and he said that one may need some works (like sanding) to fit the resin with the plastic parts,
but it must be not so difficult for whom has experiences on treating resin parts.
And, this is just similar to what I've heard about the DEF M1070 wheel kit
from other modellers here, i.e. no significant fit problems.
I hope this would be helpful for you.

Not gunna happen!! But...
June 16 2012, 4:33 AM
Another reason, if you get them (they are a limited edition set as I understand it) they come with painting masks, and, yes, they are cast so the manufactureres logo is positioned in a different place, i hate resin wheels where all the logo's line up as they used on ly one master, finally a manufacturer has listened!!
Just enough knowledge to be dangerous, but not enough to help anyone.
