hi.l am looking for pictures and info on an egyptian armed forces' recovery vehicle during Yom Kippur War,based on Btr-50 body, for a modelling project.the only picture l found, had low resolution and details were not visible.does anyone know if egyptian army vehicles had a camo scheme with blue colour in it?l found a photo of a PTSM on parade during the 90's,that one of the colours looks like blue.unfortunately,l cannot post the photo, because l can't find the webpage that l saw it.thanx in advance

Here is a photo from just after the Yom Kippur war showing Egyptian army gear on paread/ formatipn. It is the OT62 recovery vehicle (I am pretty sure). Check the camo. Not blue for sure.
Hope this might help.

that's the picture with the low resolution l was talking about.the problem is,that l've gone too far with the project.you see,l added this "A" shape winch assembly to a BTR-5O instead of an OT-62.OOOUUUPS.SILLY ME.l found out too late.is there a chance that the egyptians (or arabs in general) used BTR-50 as recovery vehicles OR l am completely wrong?
