Humvee with GPK

I have a left over Humvee M1025 kit with basic Armour and also a Legends GPK weapon station. Could I combine these two or was the GPK only installed on M1114 Humvees? Preferably, I would like to depict an early OIF scene with it.
Thanks
Gert

M1025 w/GPK

There are minimal images of M1025's fitted with GPK's. You can probably do it and be ok. I've never seen, in person or in photographs, an American M1025 fitted with GPK but it doesn't mean it didn't happen somewhere.

Here is an image from 'Humvee's Around The World' that shows Iraqi M1025's fitted with Armor Survivability Kits (ASK) and fitted with GPK's.

Here is a Polish M1025A2 with GPK

Ramadi 2005

July 19 2012, 2:08 PM

My Platoon (3/B/1-104Cav, 2nd BCT 28th ID) took over 1025s with gunner and armor kits from 1-9 Infantry, 2nd ID in the summer of 2005. These trucks were beat to hell and we only used them for a couple months and they were replaced with brand new 1114s. I would guess 80% of the line troops had armored up 1025/26s in July when we got there. By September there were very few to be seen ohter than FOB runners.

Hope that helps,
Brian,
