Question on the JGSDF Type 74's tracks...

I have a couple of pix that show the Type 74 tracks with the 'rubber' track pads. " [linked image] " It looks alot like the T97E2 tracks from the M48 and earily M60's... Anybody have any knowledge on this???

Yeah, Finally got off my butt and searched the stash for my M48A3, and compared them with the Type74's... Although the track-pads seen in the pic are similar, the M48's tracks are alot wider...

They look much more like M47 tracks or the original Leopard 1 tracks.

After looking at an M47 tracks without the track pad... VERY similar... Don't have any in the stash though...

..if M26 Pershing/M46 Patton track do fit, the're (T84E1) available as indy-link tracks from AFV Club, 35037.
