Just enough knowledge to be dangerous, but not enough to help anyone.

CGI Apears to be late...

March 12 2013, 2:02 PM

I see what appears to be "Cheek Armor" on the front of the turret, Joel.

Well......

March 14 2013, 1:50 AM

Since it has the early searchlight, side loading air filters and what appears to be the aluminum roadwheels, I'd say it's a M60A1 AOS. That puts it in the middle. Except for very early M60A1s, they all have "cheek armor".

I wonder if the wheel sets will be separate, as suggested to them?

Want

Hope they cover the whole range. I would punch myself unconscious for a good M60A2.

Cheers,

John

Wouldn't hold your breath

March 13 2013, 8:20 AM

Don't mean to rain on your parade, but with only CAD drawings (not even box art) I don't think this is an imminent release. AFV Club have been known to have years between announcements and actual release (Duster anyone?). Having said that hopefully I am wrong and we will see the start of the M-60 & M-48 series be released in the first half of this year! I know sprue shots of some of the M-48 have been seen.

M728 CEV Perhaps now possible?

March 14 2013, 2:00 PM

It would certainly be nice to finally see an actual kit of the M728 instead of the resin alternatives.

I have yet to forgive Acadedmy for the multi-year tease in their annual catalog showing a black and white drawing of an M728 "to be released soon" and then it disappeared as if it was never there. sad.gif
