Are you sure?

May 6 2013, 9:24 AM

Yes DML can and does put out some dogs can you say Shermans or the Jeep? On the other hand what about there Tiger 1, Panther G any of there PanzerIIIs, PanzerIVs the M7 priest, M1A1/A2 and the U.S. halftracks all class beaters. So yes they do indeed miss the marks some times and some times they redefine the mark. Any way how long has AFV been showing or talking about there M48 two years?

Run this thru your translator

May 6 2013, 10:51 AM

I held the AFV Club turret in my hand at AMPS a couple weeks ago. It didn't have as much texture to it as you show in theses pictures. We get it, you are waiting on the AFV Club kit.

Happy to see this!

May 6 2013, 6:01 PM

I'm happy to see this one appear! I'll be happy to have the AFV Club issue as well. I'm happy to see something from Dragon without the joyous SS riding on it. Let's see if Dragon does Vietnam tanks riders too, Army or Marines, either way, a good thing to see . I'm happy to see DS tracks, too.

The AM guys , I hope will do some nice things for it.

All in all, a nice surprise announcement have a real soft spot for the -48 ..

Dave

Looks like they plan more variants, too

May 6 2013, 8:26 AM

Looking at the hull and fender breakdown, it looks like they may be planning to release most of the variants. I'm all for that. I want an A1, A2, and first version A3.

Now, if someone will FINALLY do an M60.....

Joe

Don't want an A1..

May 6 2013, 1:08 PM

Want an M60, Period. Or, as some insist on calling it M60A0.

Well chances are..

May 6 2013, 1:32 PM

You're going to have to convert your own from what ever kit ends up out there. Really doubtful that any company will do a M60 slick. The A1 thru A3 share a common lower hull, where as they'd have to change it up for a Slick. Not that hard to do just have to find yourself a turret and convert the lower hull. I used a CMD one, but they are almost impossible to find theses days. Legends makes one.

May 7 2013, 9:43 AM

I have the Legend turret was not pleased with how 105 main gun was mounted to resin gate or angle when attached to turret. Also have the AFV Club M-48H kit. Would rather have a full fledged M-60 from someone.
