Anyone confirm the type of periscopes fitted to the non-A2 Commander's Weapon Station?

Thanks.

Ah - vision block type M?

Thanks Mike,

Got mixed up on the vision block designation for the CWS. Don't know where I got the M19 thing from.

Guessing you're thinking of M 17 ?

August 9 2017, 6:38 AM

Hi Greg,
turret parts manual doesn't give a designation, just "periscope, tank ,unity, long" and "periscope, tank, unity, short" but they definitely aren't M 17.

Sean

P.S.
found thishttp://www.optexsys.com/spec/Optex_Spec_Sheets_PMS_V3_9_9.pdf
looks like it's the 2 types in the third row, with the M1 drivers 'scopes in the last row.

Thanks Sean - yep...

I was thinking M17. Shame that's not the one. Do you have a link to the turret parts manual? I may be able to search the NSN centre via CAGE & P/N to get the dimensions.

Thanks.

Excellent!

Could you provide the NSN for the CWS cupola itself, as well?

Thanks.

long unity periscope NSN 1240-01-079-3040
