Can I take the interior from the late model Meng Achzarit and place it in the early model Achzarit? In other words, not "will it fit", but "would the interior for both be the same"?
Yes, it will fit; yes, it is the same.

I've both Meng kits and have looked at doing this, too.
What references are you using, and do you have a vehicle in mind? Email me if I can help, I've four of the five currently available books on the Achzarit, a fave of mine.
Good luck with your build.

I have the Desert Eagle Achzarit book, which is excellent. Do you have the SabIngaMartin Publications Achzarit book? I've been considering it: are there additional details in it that would make it worth obtaining? I think this is one of the coolest looking vehicles, it's history intrigues me.
I too have both Meng kits, as well as both of the Tiger Nagmachon, which I really recommend!!
Also, thanks for the reply!

And had the one by Mousehouse, but traded it a long time ago.
If you have one, you probably don't need the other. The Desert Eagle book is very good and is mainly centred around the "late" variant. I did a tweek list for the Meng kit, that can be found here with a brief search.
Newer Achzarits feature the latest remote control weapon station "Drakonit", as opposed to the "Katlanit"; neither of whIch is available in scale.
I've the Legends' update, which provides a mix of features, the most helpful being the armoured air covers fore and aft. Still no "aquarium" commander's cupola, which is a real feature of current vehicles.
I also have the Hobbyboss kit, which is ok; I prefer the Meng offering.
