Nashorn tips Redux: I've listed them here instead.

The main disadvantages of the Armor Pro Nashorn from Dragon are the tracks that are too short and I believe, the type of plastic used to make these kits.
It seems regular old Testors glue (black container with needle applicator) really doesn't make a real permanent bond. I've been able to pull parts off that should have been welded together hours ago.

The instructions are little improved over the color photo type we used to get. Sub-assemblies magically appear on the kit with no instruction of how they are orientated or placed. This is not a beginners kit or one-nighter.

At least 37 pieces make up the 88mm mount. The P.E. for the side louvers are 14 pieces and not worth messing with in my opinion. The pre-formed spare wheel carriers seem to be too thin. They are made with wire.

Watch when gluing the boggie assemblies to the Hull! There is enough slop at the attachment points that you may not have a model that sits level when done. The rear wheel can be glued in many different heights which influance the lenth of track.

Do not glue the ammo bins to the superstructure sides as they won't go on right. Glue the sides together, then glue the bins to the hull.

My m.g. mounts both broke trying to cut them from the sprue. I used a Xron cutter. It didn't matter. I wish these were P.E. or pre-formed wire.

If done right the gun should go up and down, and should pivot with the curved interior gun shield. Pretty neat one that.

Driver and radio mans hatches are too small for the opening and look really stupid. Don't know how to fix that other than have them in the open posistion.

I made some comment comparing track lenths to the Stug kits. I don't see them helping here as the Nashorn hull is supposed to be longer than a regular PZ.IV hull. Maybe the Hornet tracks are longer than the Nashorn. I don't have the Hornet to tell you. The Stug hull is 20-33% percent smaller than the Tank Killers are. (just using the MK.1 eyeball)

3 MP-40's are included but don't have any mags for them. No m.g.'s for the AA mounts. Why?

Very detailed kit, slighty over-engineered. Despite these things I plan to get a bunch of them so I can make the muntions carrier and maybe convert one with an old ESCI HUMMEL gun barrel.
