Response to DML to do a M4A1 early?

A local shop received the Modeltrans M4 and M4A1 DV hulls and I did not resist. Only to find out that it is a pain to use them since Dragon bottom hulls and tranny covers ARE NOT compatible. Well I should now better because that has already been pointed out here.

And now that I'm struggling with the two resin conversion, Dragon announced a ready build Firefly based on the M4 (so a 1/72 M4 is coming) and now a 1/35 DV M4A1 which means that a 1/72 will surely follow.

What should I do? finish both quickly BEFORE these two Dragon Shermans are available. And never again by resin mods that do not show clearly the mod in place with the donor kit....
