Ah, my crumby eyesight deceives me again..I see now that the sides of the cab are not actually doors, but just part of the cab wall, and the clear sections are the doors, so they must go on the outside, but then the fit is terrible. Think I will have to leave them off if I can...the instructions show that this is possible...

This kit is giving me a headache!
