Response to PST T-44M

Hi all,
I picked up the kit from a Russian guy who was selling them on Ebay. I was just trolling through the 1/72 armor and this kit's listing caught my eye. I checked Ebay, and the listing says that he has 6 more of them available. Not cheap, but not too bad considering that it comes with a resin turret and turned aluminum barrel. The box cover states "Very Limited Edition."

In looking at the kit, I don't think that it is just a PST T54/55 kit with a T34 turret thrown in. The driver's hatch looks different. There are also two choices for engine deck covers.

The only fault that my untrained eye catches on is the fact that the kit has early spider-web wheels. In one of Steve Zaloga's books, a picture shows the M variant with a later wheel type. I intend to replace my wheels with a set from Armory.

Aside from the usual PST minor flash and lack-luster tracks, the kit looks quite good.

I hope that helps

Chris
