Response to First pics post here

Hi Guillermo, welcome to the forum. The M8 Greyhound is one of my favourite vehicles, so I am pleased you are modelling one and putting on extra detail as well! I have a couple of comments on your work so far, well done for adding the lifting hooks, I don't know why Italeri completely left them off, however the grab handle you have put in front of the driver and co-driver's visors was actually a flat piece of metal which fitted between the flaps when they were laid down flat on the front hull. You could also add the supports for the top flaps when they were open, here is a picture that illustrates both items:

[linked image]

The little triangular cut outs on the turret are meant for supports for a small bar that runs all the way round the turret to use as an attachment point for stowage, not all M8's have it, but if you don't add it fill in the triangles.

The four bolt heads on the front plate were not seen on wartime M8's, shave them off.

I look forward to seeing it painted, what markings are you going to use?

Best regards (Saludos)
