I remember his shot from east front color movie footage. Wasn't he in a Panhard AC? ( he's overheating and takes jacket off, in the hot Russian summer heat)
Just noticed its first pattern panzer wrap. (no neck closure and with smaller less pointy collar, collar tabs close to edge collar etc) oh and nice Alte (true) crusher...think he has pink vs yellow waffenfarbe. Panzer recon could be either- depends on unit....
Oh read on: its copper brown for GD! the copper brown was usually for the Krads unit which was absorbed into the PAA...But GD also had meadow green for its Krads unit for a short while......
These PAA can have great variations in waffenfarbe and clothing- esp late war.
(Probably the one exception to the rule that troops in the same abteilung wore same color waffenfarbe?)
PAA from former krads units: brown or green waffenfarbe, armored car units often pink, cavalry usually yellow.
