I must say that the detail on the Airfix kit looks first rate, especially as the moulds date back to the late 1960's. The ambulance was very popular and if I remember correctly, allowing for the time lapse and age, I think Chris Ellis or someone from the Airfix Magazine did a series of articles converting this fire tender to various trucks on the same chassis. I used to have all these magazines, but unfortunately they got destroyed in a fire, which was a shame. I don't know if there are any archives with all these articles, would be interesting to find out. Keep up the good work, look forward to your next update.
