Response to Braille Scale Group Build - 2012 'Medical Services' - Week 16

Hello

The trailer is near complete.

Lacking any decent reference pictures, I made the dimensions the same as the Horch, in width and height. Also lacking a rear view I put ambulance style rear doors on, given as the side window in the period photo seems to be whited out, indicating this was probably an ambulance trailer.

all frame and body components made from Evergreen card and strips. Hinge centres made from stretched sprue.

Wheels are Esci Blitz (as per the one and only period photo), also appears to have Blitz mudguards in the photo, I had no more spare blitz guards having used them on the Horch, so cut up & sanded guards to shape from the spares box, the mudguards were originally from a Hasegawa 88 originally, axle stubs also from the spares box, probably from an Esci Sd Kfz 250.

Just need a bit of tidy up, red cross decals, numberplate, and a bit of dust & weathering

cheers
Neil
