My 72 scale page has been more or less dead the last couple of years. Now I am changing internet provider so everything will be gone by the end of the month.
So this gives me two options. Just forget about it and close it or do what I wanted to do. Update it and make it more simple.
I felt it was to much work with thumbnails so I tried to remove that part but that makes the homepage messy. Another thing is that many pictures are small and not to good. It started for a 800*600 resolution but the screens have got bigger so 450 or 600 pxl wide pictures is small today. Many pictures is pre digital camera so the quality isn't the best either. I feel that my skills has grown in that area since I've begun.
But I am not ready to give up yet. I have decided to restart my 72 scale page again. This time it will be a part of a scale modelling page. So the 72 scale will get a separate chapter and I am removing the other scales into their own parts. I have also started to take new pictures of some of the old models.
Before I go to deep into this I would like to have some feedback of the layout of my new pages.
From the Homepage one get directly to the vehicle part when clicking on the 72 scale button.
The 72 scale pages is separated in to vehicles, civilian and military aircrafts. Keeping it simple I haven't divided them in different periods or such. If the list grows to long I might have to split it later.
The miscellaneous link leads back to the home page.
The old pages are here:http://hem.passagen.se/burrabee/72scale/start.html
and the new here:http://baecklund.eu/scalemodels/home.html
So what is the verdict. Can I resume on the path I've started?
