Response to Sherman at El Alamein

Hi Tim.
Can't say I've seen that combo,
the first battle they had Sherman II (cast hulls)
unless there was some welded Sherman I's in the mix?
either way they would have had plain block tracks
I've used UM tracks a couple of times & just sanded the chevrons off
or go one step further & added strips of plastic pads back on.

By the second battle they had Sherman III's with cast noses & M4 suspension.
(though I have seen a M3 suspension Sherman III)

the other option I thought of was the first M4's with the US in Tunisia
again plain rubber block tracks, But no Sand shields
& the only M4's they had at that time were Pressed Steel Car
which had cast noses.
