Hello Christian,

I have looked through my references and it would appear that the Panzer Selbstfahrlafette IV had the 38cm track with open teeth. If you use google images with the title in the previous sentence you get a lot of images of the vehicle and it appears to have the early PzIVE sprocket (although there is one image with the later PzIVF sprocket, which would be for 40cm tracks) and this used 38cm track...

I may be contradicted by other, more knowledgeable folk, but this is the result of my research, hope it helps.
