M3 US half Track

.if it's anything like the recent Academy kits, I won't need to go die-cast, or Hase/Fujimi/Airfix. Academy does not, however, have the release rate to do justice to all the variants, so plenty of opportunity for conversions from the after-market.

I suppose I'll get the M26 too, if it doesn't break the bank.

This would be great news. A Plastic 1/72 scale HalfTrack. As Adrian said thats is what we are looking for....

... an old ESCI White M3A1 Scout Car for frontal part, Airfix M17 or what-is-it for chassis and rear tracks, Hasegawa M3A1 I-dont-know-what-for, Part photoeched parts for armored superstructure and some drawings in 1/72 scale for overview, it was inevitable for an US Half-track to be issued in plastic ...

that chicken 'til it's hatched.Academy ain't the most accurate model-maker on the planet.I'm still shakin' my head over the 'blitz and deuce and a half.I wouldn't part with my 'gawa 1/2 tracks just now...........Dan
