Hi All,
After a few days work of cutting and placing tamyia masking tape its all off and I have my basic cammoflage laid down for my Grille. I will now go on to weather the thing, its very flat but weathering will sort that also the photos do not show all off the tones in the paint, hopefully I will be able to enhance it during the weathering. Intreastingly UM tell you to put the unit markings above the side vision port. However in AFV magazine they put the unit markings on the other side of the tank can anyone tell me which is right?.....

Did you have to change much to get the UM to fit instead of the Attack? was there any size difference
Do you have any other in progress pics with the painting etc?
Cheers Elliott
And yes this is going to be my next project!

Cammo update

May 29 2006, 8:00 AM

Sadly I did not take any pictures when it was all taped up but I have taken more pics now the tank is weathered and I will then go on to take more pictures as I add details to the interior and track work. The tracks should get done tonight and I may add some colour to the inside. With the aid of oils and some highlighting the tanks paintwork looks far more real over the freah sprayed look.
