Making the boxes one at a time - The trapezoid box in the middle was very difficult to make. It is nice to have Trumepter parts instead of scratchbuilding. There are still many small details to add. Thanks for your comment.

Albert:

I think that looks fabulous, but I can't tell for certain if you've found a M31 kit or if you're scratch-building one from a Lee/Grant. Which is the case? Anyway, either way it looks very good.

Excellent, Al!

This is a really nice work in progress. The pics surely does not make justice to the level of detail that is necessary in this vehicle, as I managed to obtain scale drawings (well, in 1/35, but could be reduced properly ) and the crane, i.e., is very rich in details.
A little question: what is the color scheme that you planned? I wish to finish my future M31 (Hell, I have to finish my current-but-yet-not-finished ones previously ) in one of the eye-catching schemes with one or more camouflage secondary tones. I think that your excellent work could be finished superbly in a camouflage scheme. Happy modeling!

Spectacular work Albert!

I would love to have more detail photos of some of the details you've done. I might be interested in trying to scratchbuild/kitbash one of these also since I have a spare M2 Grant that I don't know what to do with.

Can't wait to see this at the painting party!
