does anyone one know of a (resonably priced) set of replacement PzIV wheels?
i'm looking at buying 3x Hasegawa PzIV F1 and 3x Hasegawa PzIV F2 - but the wheels are the rather horrid ones from the old PzIV munitions panzer
(why Hasegawa couldn't have added new wheels like they have done with all their other PzIV chassis based releases i'll never understand?)
The Revell Nashorn comes with a very nice set of early roadwheels in addition to the tracks. I believe Alex Clark used the roadwheels from this kit on his Dragon Pz4 build.
The Nashorn was also on sale here in the UK at a really cheap price. A great bargain and well worth it for the wheels and tracks even just on their own. I snapped several up and used one set of wheels on the PzIV as you mention.
Revell Hummel & Nashorn have nice mid hubcap wheels, tracks and idler, but no gear wheel which is the most ugly part from Hasegawa
Hobbyboss Munpanzer 4F should cover whole running gear (Mun 4D/E has nice wheels)
If you have Mirage Pz4: There are 3 sets of running gear included. 2 sets have mid caps. May be someone could offer you the spare parts.
And one question:
Are this solutions in combination with original kit much cheaper then Dragons excellent Panzer 4F?
In Austria each mentioned solution is more expensive then Dragon offering.
