Little and Large

Hello there

I actually got around to finishing a couple of models recently - the Dragon Tiger I and Italeri PzKpfw I, and thought they might look good photographed together..

[IMG][linked image][/IMG]

Both are basically out of the box, but I replaced the tow cable on the Tiger with cotton thread, and replaced a few brackets and hinges on the PzKpfw I. Fiddling about with those miniscule link and length tracks was a right pain, but perhaps not as bad as when I first built the original ESCI kit in the seventies, and had to struggle with those old inflexible rubber band tracks!

The Tiger is sprayed and brush painted with Humbrol/Vallejo paints and uses Techmod decals - sSSPzAbt 101 in Normandy. The PzKpfw I is sprayed with my own mix of Schwarzgrau, and I've just left it with balkenkreuz markings only..

Ian

Thanks Mark

Here's a more appropriate pairing:

A sort of Dragon 'dogfight double' if you like...

Fantastic Ian! Definitely a good pairing. Your Sherman looks outstanding in its weathering. I love the stowage on it too.

Yeah, 'dogfight double'! Nice! That would be great if some companies did that.

Thanks for posting that. Very awesome!
