but first, that is a nice job all the way around.Check it out,ya'll.They may not have turned them loose, but they did elevate with gear on top.I found several other pictures of gear on top and launcher elevated, also. If the top and all gear was smooth,it might slide. With cloth, boxes, etc, they would be hard to slide out from under the straps.
Ziggy, the only thing that I might suggest(if I could build and paint like that)is to put an eyeball protector on the antennae.Maybe dip the end in something to make a ball......Dan

Hi,
thanks a lot for all your comments!. Regarding the stowage: I did that based strictly on many photos showing how it was attached. So maybe in my version the straps are a bit too loose and the gear is not squeezed enough.
Q: What did you use for the mud flaps?
I used a material from a cup of instant coffee jar: it a thin composition of paper+ aluminum+ plastic.
Q: put an eyeball protector on the antennae?
According to photos that I have I am not sure whether they have them in 1991. If you are sure that they have them I will add them of course.
Q: How on earth did you do all of that white stenciling on the tubes and pallet?
I designed a self-made decals: computer graphic + printing
the protector was on the antenna in 1990,Ziggy,but that was just a minor observation on my part.I just conveyed it to you for future consideration. The lack of the protector does not detract from your finished model. It is just fine the way it is.......Dan
