Unfortunately I've not been there since 1976 but I recall finding a model shop somewhere in Copenhagen and was shocked by the prices of Tamiya kits compared to the UK at the time. It might be different now but from what I have read here, kit prices tend to be significantly higher in Scandinavia than in the UK at any rate. We stayed on a farm and the chap who owned it was coming to the UK to buy a tractor because it was cheaper here. There was also n annual invasion of Scandinavians to Newcastle for Christmas shopping, although they tended to leave the axes and shields behind
